Singapore Monthly Performances.

Besides special festivals occurring each month, some events are held throughout the year. Some of the monthly events to watch out for:

Concerts in the Park (Jan to Dec)
Free musical and theatrical performances are held regularly in our beautiful parks. Enjoy music from a Chinese orchestra or choir or be enthralled by the exhilarating theatre performances.

Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay (Jan to Dec) Singapore's premier performing arts venue runs a series of regular events showcasing the best of Singaporean and international talents. There's Coffee Morning, a morning concert on the first Monday of every month; Late Night, which puts Singapore's freshest talents in the spotlight every last Friday of the month.

There're also free outdoor performances every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening along the Esplanade Waterfront; free concerts at the Concert Hall on Sundays; and free lunchtime concerts at the Concert Hall on the last Tuesday of the month.


Singapore Symphony Orchestra (Jan to May and Jul to Dec)
These twice-a-week performances at the Esplanade include a broad repertoire from different international composers. Singapore Chinese Orchestra Catch the Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) playing classical Chinese music with a refreshing modern twist every fortnightly.
