Pulau Ubin
Trek through Ubin, an island still regarded as Singapore's last 'wild frontier'. Its name is derived from the word 'Zubin' which means granite. The granite quarries, prawn farms, villages and lush vegetation add to the rustic setting of this island, a stark contrast to the modernity of the city. You can opt to rent bicycles to explore the island, go bird watching, have a seafood meal at the village seafood restaurant or simply sip a cup of coffee at the local coffee shops.Best time to visit: From 9.00am till 6.00pm.
