Raffles Landing Site
This spot along Boat Quay is where Singapore's founder, Sir Stamford Raffles, is believed to have first stepped ashore and is marked by a statue made of pure white poly marble. The original figure stands outside Victoria Concert Hall and Theatre, and was cast in dark bronze by Thomas Woolner.
