Thaip poosam
In Singapore Tamil community mostly Hindus living and celebrating their Hindu rituals. they celebrate many religious festivals. Thaip Poosam is one of it.
A time of devotion, thanksgiving and penance for Hindus. Experience an extraordinary demonstration of faith as devotees pierce their bodies with spikes and hooks to carry the kavadis, offering prayers and performing sacrifices. The procession begins at the Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple in Little India and ends at the Sri Thandayuthapani Temple.
